The Certificate is redeemed by the recipient contacting us by e-mail or telephone to indicate preparedness to do the course and to provide specific details on the sizing of the paddle to be made. Courses are run at various times during the year and once the recipient has contacted us we will then keep them informed of potential dates.
The certificate does not have a ‘use by’ constraint.

Thoroughly enjoyed the 2 day paddle making course with Valkyrie. The facilities were excellent both in terms of John’s traditional workshop and the quality of the tools and materials provided. The most important aspect was John’s quiet instruction methods – Sound, experienced initial instruction to the group at each stage and then supplemented by John’s ability to stay in the background whilst keeping a sharp eye on each individual’s progress and stepping in just in time with tailored advice! I’m not even a paddler (making for my daughter), however I left with a piece of craftsmanship that I can be proud off and enhanced skills that I will use going forward. Highly recommended course to anyone wanting a personalised hand-crafted paddle, and all at an extremely reasonable price.
